- Frequently, scientific and clinical journals in animal behavior contain articles on dog behavior that have direct relevance to issues arising in dog bite cases. This is the kind of information attorneys need to rely upon because such findings have a strong scientiific basis and are more likely to be accepted as evidence in court. The attorney needs to rely on these findings to present the best case possible. The academicaly trained dog bite expert in animal behavior is in a unique position to assist the atorneyin this regard.
- Dr Polsky maintains copies in pdf format of nearly all relevant scientific articles (e.g. particularly papers detailing aggression behavior) in his vast personal library. Attorneys or other interested parties interested in these publications should contact Dr. Polsky for copies. A processing fee will be charged.
- The journals listed below contain research in animal behavior per se and not to research that present epidemiological findings (e.g. dog bite statistics) or dog bite treatment. Findings about the latter are scattered throughout the medical literature and tend not to be published in any specific group of journals. The interested reader should contact Dr. Polsky for information and copies of recent publications pertaining to epidemiological findings.
