92-year-old man bludgeoned to death in Meade, Oklahoma
In this incident, a 92-year-old man was brutally mauled to death by two unsupervised pit bulls. The victim had his face torn apart, his ears ripped from his head, and his lips torn from his face. The incident happened on April 10, 2012.. Neighbors of the victim say the dogs involved had attacked other people previously, including one boy who was attacked by the dogs while riding his bicycle.
The pit bulls were confiscated from the home of the owner, but the owner denied that his dogs were involved in the mauling. Nonetheless, forensic investigation, through DNA analysis, should be able to determine if the blood found on the dogs matches the blood of the victim. At the time of this post results of this investigation are not known.
